“We are what you would call tier two. we are farther away from the consumer, farther away from all the sales data. We need to see through the retailer and detect consumer behaviour. “I compare it to driving in Istanbul traffic,” says Taşkın. “If the vehicle in front makes a sudden move, it’s always an advantage to see it early. Maybe only one-twentieth of a second, but sometimes this can save lives. We wanted to see the vehicle in front of us, not behind us.”
