Job Duties

Our company has expanded into the Global Marketplace and we now have offices in China, Europe, Japan and plans to expand into Canada. We need a very hands on Human Resources Director with experience setting up and working in an international HR environment. This includes recruitment, hiring, benefits, compensation, payroll, compliance, training and termination.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Hiring
  • Assist Managers with new hires and the onboarding process; new hire reporting, payroll, new hire orientation, background checks, and benefits.
  • Payroll
  • International payroll is processed monthly or bi-monthly. Process employee new hires, time off records, commissions and bonus, update payroll spreadsheet and distribute to payroll accountants to process for payment. Ensure that all European employees are being paid properly.
  • Employee Communications
  •  Develop Employee Handbooks by country, implement and distribute. Develop HR policies/managers handbooks for EMEA.
  •  Establish a standard Employment Contract by country that can be turned quickly and efficiently to turn new hires contracts around in 24 hours but only with written approval from the President and CEO. Ensure that the contracts are designed to the company’s standards.
  • Establish guidelines and Manage Leaves of Absence according to the regulations of each country.

  •  Establish Standard Benefit Offering by Country. Researches and analyzes benefits programs and trends and implements plans based on the employer’s needs and budget.   • Ensure that the benefits are cost effective to the company. Implement needed changes for respective countries, which includes: Benefit plan contracts, establish process of administration, employee notifications and enrollment.

  • Assist with performance evaluation systems that enable managers and supervisors to successfully conduct reviews and give merit increases.
  • Assist Managers and supervisors conduct performance appraisals on their employees to gauge whether they are performing according to company standards.

Revenue Accountant

Centric Software is seeking an experienced Revenue Accountant who will be responsible for ensuring our revenue is accurate as well as under the US GAAP rules. This team member will play an integral role on the Accounting Team by helping to review customer agreements and internal documents. This team member will also help in documenting the proper accounting treatments for complex and non-standard contract terms.  If you enjoy working on new challenges, making processes more efficient, and like wielding your revenue accounting wisdom to solve problems and provide meaningful financial insights and reports, then you may be a great fit for our fun and action oriented Accounting Team.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Analyze software and SaaS sales (order forms, master agreements, partner agreements, etc.) to ensure recognition is in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Improve and implements controls and evaluates actions required for compliance with the company’s revenue recognition accounting process, including the bookings and billings process.
  • Proactively reach out to various business units within the Company to ensure proper understanding of Centric Software’s deliverables and obligations to properly account for contract terms.
  • Assist the Company with the adoption and implementation of the new revenue recognition standard (ASC 606)
  • Work actively with our internal customers (Sales, IT, License, Operations, Legal, Product Development, Execs and others) to ensure that all revenue-impacting activities of the company are identified, assessed for revenue recognition conclusions and handled appropriately by as efficient of processes as possible.
  • Analyze subcontractor payments and verifies compliance with contractual terms, fee schedules, or other formal agreements.
  • Participates in routine accounting close activities, preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and related fluctuation analysis of the company’s balance sheet and income statement that provides basis for external financial reporting.
  • Process revenue transactions including order entry, invoicing and collection.
  • Prepare year end audit schedules, interact and provide details for sample testing to external auditors.

Experience

  • Technical revenue recognition experience preferred: Software (ASC 985-605), Multiple Element/SaaS (ASC 605-25) and/or ASC

Manage deployment projects per Centric’s Agile deployment methodology, delivering customer solution model per out-of-the-box Centric 8 (PLM) use cases and configuration points and Centric’s Agile processes.  Conduct customer business process analysis, information modeling, mapping to Centric 8 configurations and interface control definitions with related systems to be integrated,  data and process conversion from legacy PDM systems, provide customer guidance on process-system alignment practices, desk top procedures, process-system validation and training and on-going customer care.

Specialist skills in system integration, IT tuning and optimization and installation in enterprise environments.

Acquire and disseminate FMCG domain and system integration best practices and provide customer scenario details to guide product development, QA, Customer Support groups as needed.

Key Activities:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with customer implementation team and Centric teams to ensure a successful and referenceable delivery.
