Sr. Revenue Accountant

Centric Software is seeking an experienced Sr. Revenue Accountant who will be responsible for ensuring our revenue is accurate as well as under the US GAAP rules. This team member will play an integral role on the Accounting Team by helping to review customer agreements and internal documents. This team member will also help in documenting the proper accounting treatments for complex and non-standard contract terms. Sr. Revenue Accountant’s responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

  • Analyze software and SaaS sales (order forms, master agreements, partner agreements, etc.) to ensure recognition is in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Improve and implements controls and evaluates actions required for compliance with the company’s revenue recognition accounting process, including the bookings and billings process.
  • Proactively reach out to various business units within the Company to ensure proper understanding of Centric Software’s deliverables and obligations to properly account for contract terms.
  • Assist the Company with the adoption and implementation of the new revenue recognition standard (ASC 606)
  • Work actively with our internal customers (Sales, IT, License, Operations, Legal, Product Development, Execs and others) to ensure that all revenue-impacting activities of the company are identified, assessed for revenue recognition conclusions and handled appropriately by as efficient of processes as possible.
  • Analyze subcontractor payments and verifies compliance with contractual terms, fee schedules, or other formal agreements.
  • Participates in routine accounting close activities, preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and related fluctuation analysis of the company’s balance sheet and income statement that provides basis for external financial reporting.
  • Process revenue transactions including order entry, invoicing and collection.

Deliver Centric 8 Agile deployment projects on-time, per schedule per responsible technical and business goals of company (e.g. out-of-the-box – OOTB configurations, customer business process mapping, and best practice advocacy).

Key Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and support to pre-sales and implementation teams in designing and delivering Centric 8 Solutions focused on the Retail. Apparel & Footwear Industry and fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and High-Fashion market.

Manage deployment projects per Centric’s Agile deployment methodology, delivering customer solution model per out-of-the-box Centric 8 (PLM) use cases and configuration points and Centric’s Agile processes.  Conduct customer business process analysis, information modeling, mapping to Centric 8 configurations and interface control definitions with related systems to be integrated,  data and process conversion from legacy PDM systems, provide customer guidance on process-system alignment practices, desk top procedures, process-system validation and training and on-going customer care.

Inside Sales – PLM Solutions

FUNCTION/DEPARTMENT:       Telephone Prospecting, Lead Qualification & Tele-Sales

PURPOSE:

Develop qualified sales opportunities from target leads that are found and provided by the marketing organization presenting Product Intelligence PLM Solutions focused on the Apparel Industry and/or Global Product Sourcing for the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) market.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and prioritize target accounts.
  • Create account level research and work with sales team to create specific account action plans.
  • Seek and form relationships within target accounts via phone, email and marketing events.
  • Facilitate executive level (CxO, EVP, VP) conversations specific to a company’s business challenges, industry and competitive pressures, and engage with the executive with respect to how Centric’s solution could solve business problems.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of all Centric products & solutions and how they accommodate business needs in the target markets.
  • With the sales executives, produce written proposals & quotations.
  • Develop and maintain a complete understanding of software licensing, service contracting and pricing structures.
  • Develop a high level of knowledge of Centric’s customers, prospects, competitors and industry partners…maintain a basic understanding of business operations within the target market segments.
  • Work with the sales team to prepare business response documentation for RFI/RFP/RFQ requests.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Basic understanding of enterprise applications (ERP, PLM, SCM) and general business practices.
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills – ability to make cold calls is required.

Sales Executive- USA – East Coast and West Coast

In your capacity of Sales Executive, you will have to generate and increase revenues in your targeted geographic territory, as well as named vertical accounts, through direct sales activities presenting Product Intelligence PLM Solutions focused on the Apparel Industry and/or Global Product Sourcing for the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) market. You shall have the following duties, among others:

  • Be responsible for the ownership of revenue generation within assigned territory, as well as the quality & strength of the executive relationships within the territory;
  • Be responsible for in-depth, broad-based sales presentations of the entire Centric PLM Solution suite;
  • Drive complex solution sales cycles to deal closure;
  • Prospect with qualified leads to identify business opportunities in which the Centric PLM Solution suite can provide business solutions;
  • Analyze customer business requirements as a basis to develop a sales strategy and propose Product Intelligence Solutions;

EMEA HR Manager

Our company has expanded into the Global Marketplace and we now have offices in UK, Germany, Sweden, Italy, France plans to expand into other European Countries. We need a very hands on Human Resources Manager with experience setting up and working in an international HR environments. This includes hiring, benefits, compensation, payroll, compliance, training and termination and recruitment.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

Hiring

  • Assist Managers with new hires and the onboarding process; new hire reporting, payroll, new hire orientation, background checks, and benefits.

Payroll

  • International payroll is processed monthly or bi-monthly. Assist the accounting team in processing Europe payroll. Process employee new hires, time off records, commissions and bonus and work with Accounting to assure European employees are being paid properly.

Employee Communications

Under the supervision of the International HR Director will undertake the following projects:

  • Develop HR policies/managers handbooks for EMEA.
  • Establish a standard Employment Contract by country that can be turned quickly and efficiently to turn new hires contracts around in 24 hours but only with written approval from the President and CEO. Ensure that the contracts are designed to the company’s standards.
  • Establish guidelines and Manage Leaves of Absence according to the regulations of each country.

Employee Benefits

  • Review Standard Benefit Offering by Country. Research and analyze benefits programs and trends and implements plans based on the employer’s needs and budget. Through effective communicate to the department managers to explain benefit programs so that the managers can explain benefit programs to candidates and employees.
  • Ensure that the benefits are cost effective to the company. Implement needed changes for respective countries, which includes: Benefit plan contracts, establish process of administration, employee notifications and enrollment.
  • Manage employee stock option and ensure agreements are received and signed
  • Manage employee Holiday Accruals and update managers as to vacation status of all employees in Europe.

Compensation and Evaluations – Work with Global Director of HR on the following initiatives:

  • Assist with performance evaluation systems that enable managers and supervisors to successfully conduct reviews and give merit increases.
  • Assist Managers and supervisors conduct performance appraisals on their employees to gauge whether they are performing according to company standards.
  • Process raises, promotions only with written approval from the CEO.

Training and Development – work with Hiring Managers and Global HR Director on the following:

  • Establish New Hire and on-the-job training programs so employees obtain the knowledge they need to properly execute their duties.

Qualifications:

8+ years in Human Resources within Europe with at least 5 in a management capacity

5+ years working in HR initiatives for EMEA.

3+ years in establishing and deploying HR policy for EMEA environments

3+ years doing EMEA payroll

Experience in setting up training programs for Europe

Able to assist various cultures with HR issues – ability to speak fluent English is CRITICAL, multi lingual is a plus.

Experience setting up international HR policies and procedures that are currently not established.

4-year degree and HR certifications are preferred.

  • Experience in software installation, IT troubleshooting and optimization – Database (SQL Server, Oracle), Application Server (JBoss), experience with load balancing and clustering environments.  Skills in performance tuning and optimization and trouble shooting relative to the software stack web environment.
  • Availability for overnight travel.

 

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES 

  • Experience with modeling methods and techniques (e.g. UML) and enterprise process and information modeling and modeling in general
  • Experience with Windows operating systems
  • Experience deploying and configuring Web Applications
  • Experience with web standards and  XML,CSS, HTML and JavaScript
  • Experience with SQL, relational database systems (Oracle and MSSQL)
  • Experience in enterprise scale usability, performance and enterprise delivery system considerations (J2EE), and enterprise system integration (with ERP).
  • Experience deploying, tuning and optimizing enterprise scale applications for High Availability performance – e.g.  Application Server (JBoss) and Database (SQL Server, Oracle) experience with load balancing and clustering environments
  • MS Office tools including MS Project and Visio, and related scripting languages
  • Expertise in core technologies  including: document management, PLM, system integration, data and process migration and conversion, security and access control, enterprise scalability and performance management, general project management, change management, and customer/ supplier collaboration processes.
  • Expertise and domain knowledge of the Apparel industry and or Global Product Sourcing and FMCG processes and industry best practices; familiar with authoring tools and practices in domain (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, OptiTex, etc.).
  • Experience in process-system re-design and adoption methods as evidenced by deployments in the industry
