Founded in 1967 and headquartered in Bornheim, Germany, DANIELS is a retailer of high-quality men’s and women’s apparel. The company offers over 200 brands plus its own private-label products. Recently, DANIELS was struggling to manage its vast product range. Manual product information updates were time-consuming and error prone. With two collections per year, each containing about 3,200 color variants, the company generates massive volumes of product data.
“Managing the product range was overwhelming,” says Finn Grande, Head of e-commerce at DANIELS. “We had no visibility of how many products were at what stage, where in the launch process, which ones were ready and where we had information missing.”
DANIELS recognized the need for both a Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution to centralize product information, automate tasks and improve data quality.
