New Centric PLM™ v7.5 automations enhance teamwork and streamline process to drive efficiency and agility
CAMPBELL, Calif., July 28, 2022 – Centric Software®, the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) market leader, introduces industry-driven new tools for food & beverage retailers, brands and producers to overcome market challenges with its latest release, Centric PLM v7.5. Centric PLM is an ‘open platform’ software that integrates with many third-party systems, including 80+ ERP solutions, multiple CAD/3D solutions, PIMs, e-commerce platforms, 100+ APIs, communication tools such as Slack, and many more. Users can pull in a rich variety of information and work in other programs while connected with Centric PLM. Centric PLM v7.5 introduces Microsoft Teams integration, enabling users to chat seamlessly within Teams while also working in PLM to communicate more effectively and action a ‘one version of the truth’ approach. On the sourcing front, the new Supplier Support Request feature improves supplier collaboration with the ability to generate supplier requests at the Food level, SKU level or Raw Materials level.

The latest Centric PLM release debuts user-friendly automation tools for food & beverage companies to eliminate steps in daily processes and save time. These include data package templates for foods, SKUs and formulated materials and a recipe tool that allows users to import recipes quickly and accurately from an outside source into Centric PLM with a simple copy/paste action.
As most companies now have teams working remotely from different devices and with security breaches and phishing attacks on the rise, Centric Software has also introduced a critical layer of security with multi-factor authentication to log in to Centric PLM v7.5.
