Marketing Manager – Southern Europe

Telecommute, Italy

Centric Software provides enterprise software applications in the fast-moving consumer goods market to manage, optimize, and execute business processes. Our software solutions help our customers in taking their products from concept to production, and in between managing their materials, sourcing, quality, and pricing on their way to producing their final catalog. 

We are looking to hire an experienced Southern Europe Marketing Manager to manage our marketing activities.  You will be reporting into the EMEA Marketing Director and be responsible for putting in place marketing activities in the region. 

A Marketing Manager must be well-organized and very thorough. Communication skills and attention to detail will set apart the best among the candidates.  As marketing supports new business development and sales, everything we do must be in line with strategic and business objectives. Our goal is to build both brand awareness and help generate leads which include those for new product introductions or launches into new markets.    

 

Responsibilities: 

Event planning and coordination in line with the sales and marketing for EMEA, ABM on top accounts and marketing campaigns adapted to the market. 

Event Coordination:  

  • Understand requirements for each particular event taking into consideration the local cultures.  
  • Plan for the promotion activities (identify targets in salesforce, build targets & campaigns in Pardot, build emails, ramp up, reminders…) according to the operational plan.  
  • Events logistics: organize for all the logistical aspects including researching and booking the venue & catering with respect with the allocated budget and deadlines, sending all necessary goodies, satisfaction questionnaires, sales collaterals & pop up stands in the local languages, dealing with local suppliers with help of a DMC.  
  • Communication with the sales team 

Event follow up: 

  • Put in place follow up actions according to the plan.  
  • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems   
  • Evaluate event’s success and submit reports   

Communication campaigns:  

  • Inbound: Build decided scenarios in the marketing automation tool to nurture our leads.   
  • Outbound: quarterly newsletters, communication campaigns, xmas cards… 
  • Follow up actions  

ABM on top accounts in the region   

Possible travel around Europe.  

 

 Requirements and Qualifications 

  • 5 to 8 years of experience working in a B2B technology environment 
  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent 
  • Proven experience in managing marketing actions (events, campaigns, ABM…) 
  • Understanding and knowledge of inbound and marketing automation practices (Pardot preferred) and use of CRM (Salesforce). HTML notions is a plus.  
  • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills 
  • Able to handle stress and remain calm 
  • Autonomous & thorough 
  • Understanding of responsibility and accountability 
  • Problem-solving ability 
  • Good communication and collaboration skills (negotiation ability is a plus) 
  • Languages: English + Italian and / or French and / or Spanish
