PLM Post-Sales Consultant
Apparel & Fashion Market - Italy

Centric Software Italy is looking for an experienced PLM Post-Sales Consultant. The position is to deploy the Centric PLM applications to customers mainly in Italy with some missions in Europe.

The Consultant will drive full PLM implementations starting from the requirement analysis phases, the product definition phases until the final Go-Live with great success and client satisfaction. He may be using, to help him at some steps of the project, some other specialized Centric resources, even if he will be the responsible of the timescale respect and objectives achievement. This means a mix of project management, business and technical consulting skills to:

• Analyse/understand business requirements
• Document these requirements to build value based proposition
• Configure Centric Application to match requirements
• Deploy Centric Application at customer site
• Train and support change at customer site
• Drive a full PLM post-sales project (Milestones, Timing, Resources etc...)
• Achieve customer objectives and satisfaction.

The Consultant will report to the European Technical Manager. In addition to supporting customer deployments, the consultant may be involved in pre sales situation for demonstration, proposal building. The ability to be multi role will be critical. Centric being aggressively penetrating the Italian market, a “sales” attitude will be requested to professionally advertise Centric’s confidence to provide value to their customers. The ability to deal with customers and handle customer situation will be key.

Centric is a small but fast growing company requiring initiative, and autonomy to deal with everyday situations. The candidate will have to be comfortable working alone with his activities without permanent supervision but will have to report regularly of his/her activity. Although most business processes oriented, it will be asked the consultant to be taking on system configuration activities. The office location will be preferably Milan. A lot of travelling is expected to visit customers mostly in Italy but also throughout Europe. The profile may require travelling to the USA for training, internal meetings therefore requires valid visa.

Profile:

• 30-40 years old
• Bachelor/Master in computer science technologies or engineering
• Senior or significant experience as a PLM post sales consultant.
• Strong experience and knowledge of the Apparel &Fashion Market
• Experience with database centralized enterprise systems (PLM, Supply Chain, Collaboration, PLM) is a must (as opposed to desktop applications)
• Technical ability and self sufficiency
• Foreign experience will be a plus. Long term placement or job experience in a software Company in the UK, USA with customer facing experience
• Fluent English
• Ability to deal with customers ie understand requests/requirements/issues and respond in a timely professional way.
